Making a commitment

The most important part of any new endeavor is making a commitment, and this lifestyle change is no exception. You’ve already started this process by learning about a simple, yet powerful way to eat that will reward you for the rest of your life.

Beginning a permanent lifestyle change can seem like a scary or daunting task. The best way to prepare is to continue studying, learning, and planning until you’re ready.

Once you have decided to make the commitment, we ask that you make a promise to yourself that you will give 4Leaf for Life a legitimate chance to succeed for you. Our recommendation is to commit to eat at the 4Leaf level for at least eight weeks, but preferably 12-16. While there’s implied “wiggle room” in the 4Leaf formula, we recommend that you avoid all meat, dairy, eggs and fish for the duration of your commitment period.

We recommend this time frame because we want you to give your body enough time to show you the plethora of benefits that accompany a near optimal diet. Secondly, we want you to have for your body to adjust to the initial cravings that you will most likely experience.

Quite simply, most of the experts agree that “baby-steps” are not recommended for best results. With that being said, we do know people who have successfully made the move after starting very slowly; we’re just saying that your odds of success are better if you jump in with both feet from the beginning. We’re in your corner!

CAUTION. Eating this way may quickly decrease your need for medications. You should tell your physician what you’re doing. If he/she is unfamiliar with or skeptical of this eating-style, please direct him or her to nutritionstudies.org and plantrician.org.
